In this project, we inverted the traditional layout, lifting the main living spaces to the first floor, opening them up to expansive rural views and balcony access. Below, bedrooms step into the garden, with glazed openings framing views and drawing in natural light.

Our client approached Kimble Roden following the purchase of a large, detached Arts and Crafts style property in the village of Prestbury, Cheshire. Located on a quiet road with large gardens to the front and rear, she wanted to create a forever home for her family that was functional and beautiful, and suitable for modern living but that enhanced the property's charm.
